National Novel Writing Month in BRUM

NaNoWriMo Regional Lounges - UK, Ireland & Europe
England :: Birmingham
Bringing the novels home in Birmingham.

O'Neils where we will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday
the car is a rather old VOLVO
the pub a plastic palace

I might well try this lunch tomorrow

the upper floor windows shout FAKE !!!

it is not the location, nor the food ,or even the beer, but the company which counts.
Newbies take your courage in both hands and come and meet a host of strangers.
You will be amazed at how easily we all will talk with each other.

No surprise - becaue we all share common interests and computer skills.

Debating in the Forums or usenet spills over into real life and most of us know how to listen and to discuss ,and even trolls and flamers are nicer when you meet them face to face

An infamous racist on the net in Denmark just turned out to be a broken down school master who had been forced to retire early with mental health problems. he is enormously literate and highly intelligent but totally lost and to be pitied.

I took the walk today from the bus 97 stop at Digbeth coach station and finally up Hurst Street and looked in O'Neils' , no probs,. even if totally fake, I continued past the markets and stocked up with bargain price fruit and vegetables

I had hoped to post a 25 picture photo blog but the image uploads failed time and time again
http://slim2005.blogspot.com/

instead I have been warming up for NaNoWriMo and made two blogs totalling 2000 rambling words - for the first time ever
http://nanowrimo3.blogspot.com/

Typical !!

as soon as I return to a webpage which I have made, all my missed typos stand out
grrrrrrrrrrrrr

see you guys on Sunday !

older user reviews of O'Neills, Birmingham

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
This pub is in the wrong place. Its not your usual O'Neills pub, shabby service, dirty floors etc.

Went into oneills last weekend, and i must say what has happened to the place? We went there for a good night out, listening to live music not a tape layer on repeat!the service was awful, in fact i would say the staff were rude.Dont think
me and my friends will be going there again, like alot of people, as the place was also empty.
